Women’s Ballon d’Or 2022 nominees announced: Mead, Bronze and Morgan join the list

The full list of nominees for the Women’s 2022 Ballon d’Or has been announced, with Ada Hegerberg winning the inaugural Ballon d’Or Feminin back in 2018 and Megan Rapinoe scooping the prize the following year, but the Covid-19 pandemic caused the 2020 ceremony to be cancelled.

The World Cup final takes place on December 18 and Premier League action will resume eight days later on Boxing Day, Monday, December 26. The final round of Premier League matches, to be played on May 28, 2023, will kick off simultaneously as is customary.
