Somalia announced its first case of coronavirus on March 16, 2020, and since then, the country experienced exponential growth of cases with only 10 recoveries as of Sunday, April 26.

Kenya has so far recorded 343 cases after President Uhuru Kenyatta announced seven more cases on April 25. He also extended the nationwide dusk to dawn curfew and also the cessation of movement in Nairobi, Kilifi, Mandera, Kwale and Mombasa counties for 21 days.
The number of cases globally is less than 100,000 shy of the three million mark with Worldometer reporting 2,923,009 cases, 203,307 deaths and 837,156 recoveries.
