Watford have been making progress under Nigel Pearson. A 1-1 draw away to Brighton & Hove Albion yielded them a point, and they remain in the bottom three.

Ancelotti has overseen five wins, two draws and just one defeat since he took over. Richarlison scored for the third time in five matches when he broke from his own half to meet a flick-on from Calvert-Lewin. Calvert-Lewin has 11 top-flight goals for the season.

Manchester City’s Premier League fixture against West Ham was postponed due to “extreme weather conditions,” which also has seen the Women’s Six Nations tie between Scotland and England, scheduled to take place in Glasgow, called off with 70mph winds expected to hit the city.

All six Women’s Super League fixtures have been postponed, including the north London and Merseyside derbies, as have Women’s Championship games at Charlton, Coventry, Crystal Palace and Lewes.
