Olympiacos are unbeaten in their last 14 in all competitions and had a recent defeat against Spurs in the Champions League.

Arsenal are yet to lose a match in all competitions since the turn of the year but have drawn seven of their last nine.

Arsenal travel to Greece for the first leg of their Europa League round of 32 tie against Olympiacos. They progressed to the last 32 as winners of Group F. After winning their opening three, drawing two and losing one of their last three matches.

Arsenal remain 10th in the Premier League following their 4-0 win over Newcastle on Sunday. Second-half goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette gave them the 7th league win of the season.

The Gunners have not lost any of their last nine matches away from home – although only two of those have been wins.

Olympiacos drop down to the Europa League after finishing third in Champions League Group B, behind Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich. There only win in the group stage was a 1-0 victory over Red Star Belgrade.

Arsenal were drawn against Olympiacos four times in the Champions League between 2009 and 2015, with each side winning four and losing four.

The return leg takes place at the Emirates Stadium next Thursday.

Emi Martinez started all six of Arsenal’s group matches.

Shkodran Mustafi is available after serving a one-match ban in their final group match.

Dani Ceballos played in a slightly deeper midfield role.

Matteo Guendouzi is unlikely to feature following reports of a bust-up with Arteta on Arsenal’s recent training camp in Dubai.

David Luiz, Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be rested.

Lucas Torreira, Joe Willock and Alexandre Lacazette will be hoping to start this one. Gabriel Martinelli, Sead Kolasinac and Sokratis Papastathopolouos should be involved. Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Reiss Nelson weren’t even part of the matchday squad last time out.

Defenders Rob Holding and Pablo Mari played 45 minutes in the Under-23’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Monday night, fellow January signing Cedric Soares remains sidelined with a knee injury. Kieran Tierney and Calum Chambers are long-term absentees.

Mesut Ozil and Hector Bellerin were in the starting eleven the last time Arsenal faced Olympiakos in 2015.
