Liverpool remain eight points clear at the top of the Premier League when hosting 12th placed Brighton and Hove Albion. They are unbeaten in the Premier League this season with only Manchester United taking points off them. They are without defeat in their last 30 league games and the last 46 at home in the Premier League.

Brighton are 22 points behind Liverpool but only four points off fifth place. They have lost their last two league games and away form isn’t going well. The season began with a 3-0 away win at Watford but since then they have earned just one point from five games with only two goals scored and 11 conceded.

Southampton – Watford

The bottom two in the Premier League face each other in a relegation six-pointer. Southampton are 19th in the table but only a point clear of Watford who have only won one league game this season.

Watford returned to the bottom of the Premier League when being beaten 3-0 at home by Burnley. Making it their seventh league defeat of the season (Southampton have lost eight) and their only league win has been away at 18th placed Norwich City. Watford have drawn five league games this season, only three teams have more.

Norwich – Arsenal

Norwich, are placed 18th on the Premier League standings, as they host eighth placed Arsenal on Match Day 14 of the season. Norwich have managed 10 points and Arsenal have 18. Norwich managed a third win of the season in their last match, beating Everton 2-0 away and have managed just three wins, and 10 losses.

Arsenal lost to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League making it a run of seven winless outings. They have been good in attack but not in defence. They have scored in 13 of the last 15 matches, and conceded twice in each of the last three matches, and six of the last eight. Arsenal have one win in the last eight away matches and two clean sheets in nine away matches. In the Premier League, they are winless in the last five away matches since winning at Newcastle United on the opening day. They have lost three of the last five away league matches. In their last two away league matches, Arsenal have not scored a goal.
