Tottenham announced that Jose Mourinho was to succeed Mauricio Pochettino as manager and it hasn’t paid any dividends atleast not this season. It appears as though Spurs are set to lose to German opposition for the fourth time this season. Back Leipzig to win by two clear goals.
Tottenham make a trip to Germany to take on RB Leipzig this Tuesday. Trailing by a goal from the first leg, Spurs have a task on their hands to overturn the deficit at the Red Bull Arena. The past week has seen them knocked out of the FA Cup and a 1-1 league draw at Burnley. It’s possible they might not even qualify for Europe next season after a run of five games without a win.
Leipzig were much the better team for the majority of their away first and they were only denied a bigger lead by Hugo Lloris. They are unbeaten in their last 11 home matches in all competitions, a run that stretches back to October 2019. They could only draw 0-0 with Wolfsburg on Saturday.
