Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United has won the title 13 times in the last 25 years and only four teams has manage to break their dominance albeit temporarily. Blackburn Rovers were the first team to win the title other than Manchester United back in 1994/95 season when under Kenny Dalgish.
Blackburns premier league win for other team to break United’s record breaking success when Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal won the title in 1997-98.
Man United bite back and won three back to back titles including the famous 1998-99 season where they became first english club to win treble of trophies. United’s next title was in 2002-03 season. Arsenal’s 2001-02 and 2003-04 titles before Jose Mourinho took over Chelsea and won back to back Premier League titles in 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.
