What is the biggest barrier in driving visibility of women’s sport?


Why do you think it is taking so long for things to change?

The Football Stakeholders has not yet seen the potential that the women football has like their male counterparts.

Do you think male athletes can do anything to help drive visibility of female sports?

Yes, by giving support to the women football and pushing for reforms so that the leagues can attract sponsors and following.

What role do you think sponsorship brands should play in creating awareness about women in sports?

Corporates and companies should use the women football leagues as their marketing avenues, and especially companies that deals with women stuffs, that way the leagues will have money and the players will get paid.

What needs to change in order for women’s sports to be taken as seriously as men’s?

Women leaders in charge of sports should support each other for the sport to move forward and they should not feel intimidated by the men.
