Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi arrested after ‘4am row with a model’

The Sun revealed that Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi had been arrested. The front page of the tabloid, 19-year-old Hudson-Odoi was taken into custody by police after a “4am model row” and it waspretty unclear why exactly Hudson-Odoi was arrested.

The tabloid adds:

Paramedics attended early Sunday alongside the police officers who arrested the footballer. The model was taken to hospital after complaining of feeling unwell.

The Sun fail to outline whether the police are planning to press charges against the England international.

It is unclear how Chelsea plan to react to the story.

The Sun have kept the identity of the woman at the centre of the story under wraps.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was the first confirmed Covid-19 case in the Premier League. Chelsea confirmed that Hudson-Odoi had contracted the coronavirus.

On March 13, Hudson-Odoi posted a video on Instagram revealing his Covid-19 story. He said:

I am feeling perfect. I had the virus which has cleared now.

I fully feel good, I feel fit, so I am feeling back to myself so it is all good.

I had it [coronavirus] three weeks ago now I think, on a Monday when I felt a bit hot.

The next day I was feeling back to normal. I thought it was just a minor temperature thing, but obviously it wasn’t.

Chelsea’s Willian ( out of contract at Chelsea on June 30) has opened up about his fears of returning to action during the pandemic.

Chelsea have failed to agree any contract extension with Willian for him to remain at the club until the end of the season.

Frank Lampard recently said:

We have big players in that position so that’s something I’m looking at very carefully.

The ones out of contract here have been great servants for the club and have a lot of feeling for the club, but of course they will be concerned about themselves in terms of how they are now, and if pre-season is rushed they’ll want to make sure they’re alright.

So it’s going to have to be something we look at. Hopefully we can have that arrangement so they can stay with us because if we play again I would love the squad to look as it’s looked all season, but we’ll have to see how that works.

The Brazilian told Globo last weekend that he’s concerned about the Premier League’s Project Restart:

Honestly, from what I can see, a lot of players – the majority, I’d say – are uncomfortable with the idea of returning right now.

We’re really keen to return, we really miss playing and doing what we love. But it needs to be safe for us to do so. That’s how we’re looking at it. Our health has to come first.

So right now, players don’t feel comfortable with the idea of returning until it’s totally safe to do so.

Our squad has spoken a lot over the internet, via different apps, and we’ve had some meetings too. Lampard has sent us information about what the Premier League wants to do.

We still don’t know how things are going to play out, moving forward. Hopefully, we’ll know in the next few days. The Premier League is going to have a meeting and then they’ll inform us about the next steps.
