Champions League: Dynamo Kiev vs. Juventus-prediction, team news, lineups

- Dynamo are unbeaten in their last nine competitive matches.
- Dynamo’s last participation in the group stage of the UCL was 2016/17.
- Juventus have failed to win five of their last seven away UCL matches.
Juventus meet Dynamo Kiev in their opening Champions League Group G game on Tuesday. The Bianconeri are without Cristiano Ronaldo and they failed to overcome Crotone at the weekend while Dynamo, meanwhile, won again to top the Ukrainian Premier League by two points.
This is the first time Dynamo Kiev have made the group stage since 2016/17. They come into this match on top of their domestic league with three wins and no defeats from five games. They thrashed Gent in the play-off round, progressing to the competition proper with a 5-1 aggregate win. Juventus changed manager over the summer with former player Andrea Pirlo taking on his first role in senior management, replacing Maurizio Sarri. Juventus regularly make the latter stages of the competition but have not won it since 1996 and last made the final in 2017. Since then, they have failed to make it past the quarter-final stage.

They won their opening game at home to Sampdoria before a 2-2 draw at Roma. Then, controversially, they were awarded three points after Napoli failed to turn up for their fixture in Turin. Cristiano Ronaldo is quarantining and that could be bad news for the Italian side. They have failed to win five of their seven away matches in the competition.
