Ajax just won an away game 13-0 and meet Atalanta at home in the Champions League. The first set of games in Group D of the Champions League saw Atalanta beat Midtjylland 4-0 away, while Ajax lost 1-0 at home to Liverpool. Then at the weekend, Atalanta lost at home to Sampdorai 3-1, while in the Netherlands, Ajax were destroying VV Venlo 13-0.

Atalanta reached the quarter finals of this competition last season, before losing to PSG. They have won two and drawn with Manchester City in their last three home Champions League games. They come into this match having lost their last two games in Serie A, conceding seven goals. Ajax had a 13-0 away win on Saturday. They are so inconsistent though, two of their last four games have been lost without scoring and the other two saw them win and score 18 goals. Their away form in the Champions League is highly impressive with no losses in the last 15 games played over the past four years.
