Thomas Tuchel has been sacked by Paris Saint-Germain,

PSG are currently third in Ligue 1, just a point behind leaders Lyon, and have lost only four of their 17 games in the league.

Tuchel led PSG to the Ligue 1 title in his two full seasons in charge at the club and also won the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue in his time in Paris. The French beat Racing Strasbourg 4-0, which saw them close the gap to Ligue 1 leaders Lyon.

Arsenal are without a domestic win since a 1-0 victory at Manchester United on November 1 and head into a Boxing Day London derby at home to Chelsea. And will also set to play against Brighton, West Brom and Newcastle.

Here is a full rundown of the fixtures for the 2020-21 EPL season:

PSG have contacted former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino over their managerial vacancy.

The Argentine has been out of work since he was sacked by Spurs in November last year and he is believed to be strongly considering the job at the Parc des Princes.

The announcement comes after the Premier League revealed last week the 2020/21 season would start on September 12 and run until May 23, 2021.
