2023 CECAFA U18: Group A Standings and Upcoming Matches
June 26, 2020
  1. Aston Villa have only earned two points from their last seven league games.
  2. Wolves have won three of their last four away league games scoring eight goals.
  3. Wolves are on an unbeaten run of seven league games.
  4. Wolves have kept six clean sheets in their last seven league matches.

Aston Villa have played three games and haven’t won any of them. They are still 19th in the table and host Wolverhampton Wanderers who are sixth. Villa have drawn two and lost one of their last three games and remain in the bottom three, only on goal difference. They need to start winning matches to escape relegation but haven’t done since January. The only win was a 2-1 defeat against Watford. They face two home league games against Wolves and Manchester United and an away trip to Liverpool.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have won both of the games they have played in the last week. A 2-0 win at West Ham United and a 1-0 home victory over Bournemouth. Wolves are only two points behind fourth placed Chelsea and only behind fifth-placed Manchester United on goal difference.  They are unbeaten in their last seven league games and the last team to beat them was Liverpool. Away form has seen them win three of their last four.
