Manchester City are unstoppable right now, they do not have maximum points but they are in top form as it appears to be an impossible task for Brighton.
Last weekend, the Citizens traveled to the south coast to take on AFC Bournemouth, had an early lead through Sergio Agüero before Raheem Sterling made it 2-0 who has so far scored 11 goals against Bournemouth; more than he has against any other opponent in his career.
The home side did pulled one back in first half stoppage time but Agüero volley sealed a 3-1 victory. This means Manchester City have won all nine of their top-flight games against Bournemouth.
As for Brighton, they’re one of ten teams who have one win ( on the opening day at Watford ), one draw ( against WestHam) and suffered one defeat so far( against Southampton at the Amex.)
Brighton enter the Carabao Cup at the second round stage so traveled to Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night and Aaron Connolly got his first goal for the club just after half time but the League One side equalized nine minutes later.
Glenn Murray got his first of the season to send Brighton through to round three. Now they travel to face a side who finished 60 places above Bristol Rovers in the league ladder last season.
